ASUS launches first gaming notebook with Artificial Intelligence in Brazil

Asus announced the launch of its new gaming notebook, the ROG Zephyrus G16 . It is the first in which Artificial Intelligence is included, aiming to speed up processes. In addition to this news, the company announced the OLED screen and the chassis structure remodeled.

First to have Intel's Core Ultra platform AI technology is in Intel Core Ultra 9 processor – 185H in which the neural processing core (NPU) uses Artificial Intelligence.

Ricardo Ferraz Product Director and PC Leader at Intel Brazil comments that the new notebooks “become even more capable of supporting high workloads, gaming and content creation, while offering energy savings and lightweight, modern designs to customers while driving innovation through AI.”

The 16-inch screen uses OLED technology, with 2.5K resolution and up to 240Hz refresh rate, in addition to a 0.2 ms response time. The NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4080 graphics card specializes in technology that improves the gaming experience.

The combination of the AI ​​processor and the graphics card allows the tools to generate the image locally, without having to perform processing in the cloud. According to ASUS, this technology makes video editing and 3D rendering projects twice as fast as other notebooks.

Its structure is made of CNC aluminum and is 1.49 cm thick and weighs 1.85 kg. Additionally, it has ROG Intelligent Cooling technology, which uses liquid metal in the processor to dissipate heat.

Asus promised 25% larger speakers with a 47% volume increase and a new keyboard design with larger individual keys and a touchpad. The specifications also include 16 GB RAM; Wi-Fi 6E; Bluetooth® 5.2; and 90 Wh battery.

The notebook is on sale in Brazil at Asus website from R$26 thousand.
