Asus has unveiled the ROG Strix GS-AX5400 Dual Band Wi-Fi Router, optimized for online gaming by prioritizing gaming traffic and reducing latency. It complies with the 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) specification, supports 160 MHz channels, and has a combined bandwidth of 5400 Mbps. VPN Fusion allows you to use a VPN and a regular connection with different applications at the same time. In particular, network traffic of games can go over a direct connection to reduce delays, and all other traffic can go through a VPN service to ensure anonymity.
At the heart of the router is a tri-core processor with 512 MB of memory at its disposal. The equipment includes five Gigabit Ethernet ports – one WAN and four LANs. The latest Wi-Fi security standards are supported. It features programmable RGB lighting that can be controlled from the router’s setup page or synchronized with other components using Aura software. The manufacturer does not name the price of the novelty.
