Asus has unveiled the ROG Strix PG279QM gaming monitor. This is an evolution of the PG279Q model, which at one time became one of the first monitors with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, supporting Nvidia G-Sync adaptive sync technology and a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz. Introduced five years later, the Asus ROG Strix PG279QM supports a refresh rate of 240Hz.
The permission remains the same. The use of an IPS panel made it possible to obtain wide viewing angles and good color reproduction. The screen covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. The response time is 1 ms (GtG). The monitor complies with the DisplayHDR 400 specification.
A detailed description of the novelty on the manufacturer’s website is not yet available. There is also no data on the price and start date of sales.
