The Asus ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 6 series smartphones are equipped with a unique PTZ camera that allows you to use it for main shooting and for selfies. However, the latest teaser posted by Asus hints that the ZenFone 8 will have a front-facing camera embedded in the screens.
The picture shows that there will be a hole for the front camera in the upper left corner of the ZenFone 8 screen. It was previously reported that the ZenFone 8 series will include three devices with codenames such as Sake, Picasso and Vodka.

The Picasso model is expected to feature a 6.67-inch FHD + 120Hz panel, Snapdragon 888 SoC, 8GB RAM, Android 11 and Pixelworks i6 visual processor. The phone may have a 24MP front camera, while the main camera may include a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens.
The Sake model may come out under the name ZenFone 8 Mini. It is expected to receive a 5.92-inch FHD + 120Hz OLED screen, Snapdragon 888, 16GB RAM, Android 11, 64MP Sony IMX66 camera and new Sony IMX663 sensor. The smartphone is also expected to be equipped with a Cirrus CS3L45 amplifier and support for 30W fast charging. The older Vodka model will be released under the name Asus ZenFone 8 Pro.

The presentation of the line is expected on May 12.
