In mourning has sunk the Pakistan following the carnage that took place today, Monday (30/1) at a packed mosque in the northwestern city of Peshawar, killing at least 33 people and injuring around 150 others.
This is an attack which, according to the authorities of the country, was aimed at the police.
Officials at the city hospital where at least 147 injured people were taken said many of them are in critical condition.
Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif called the blast a suicide attack. Police official Sikandar Khan added that 260 worshipers were inside the mosque at the time of the blast.
