Insurance debts recorded a new increase, as in December 2021 they exceeded 41 billion euros (compared to 38.7 billion euros in September 2021), according to the KEAO report for the fourth quarter of 2021, confirming article by Capital.gr.
According to the report of KEAO, at the end of December 2021 the total amount of 31,564,266,892 euros in debts that have been included in the K.E.A.O., amounted to 41,020,670,581 euros (current balance).
The total debt to K.E.A.O. on 30/9/2021 was 38,777,206,032 euros and within the next quarter the debt increased by 2,243,464,549 euros. The change concerned an increase of 1,756,643,967 euros in principal debts and by 486,820,582 euros in additional fees. It is noted that in December 2021 the debts of the self-employed were transmitted for the period from 1/2020 to 9/2021.
In other words, the increase of almost 2.3 billion euros does not concern the last quarter of 2021 but the previous period and specifically from the beginning of 2020 to September 2021.
According to information from Capital.gr, the transfer of additional debts – of the employers – for the period 2020-2021 is pending, which amount to 1.4 billion euros. Thus, the dynamics of the debts in the funds “shows” the amount of 42.2 billion euros.
