At 77, Elton John says he is afraid of missing out on important moments in his children’s lives

Singer Elton John revealed, in an excerpt from the documentary “Elton John: Never Too Late”, that he is afraid of missing out on the big moments in his children’s lives because of his age, according to People.

“I want to see them have kids and get married. I don’t think I’ll be around for that,” he said. “That’s why I want to make the best use of mine while I’m here.” [Passar] time together is so wonderful and precious.”

The British actor also said that Zachary, 13, and Elijah, 11, fear for their lives. The two are the sons of Elton John and his husband David Furnish (“Elton John: Tantrums & Tiaras”), 61, who is directing the documentary, and godchildren of singer Lady Gaga.

“They think about my death, they worry about my death,” he said. “Not so much about David’s, but about mine.”

The film about the life of the voice of “Rocket Man” and “Cold Heart” premiered on Friday (6) at the Toronto International Film Festival. The production, made in partnership with Disney, is directed by Furnish and RJ Cutler (“Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry”) and David Furnish (“Elton John: Tantrums & Tiaras”).
