After a long wait, Nintendo has released the first trailer for Super Mario Bros. The Movie, based on the popular Japanese video game character: Mario Bros.
The film is produced by Illumination, a studio responsible for films such as My favorite villain Y Minions. In addition, it has the voices of actors Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black, among others.
The first advance of Super Mario Bros. The Movie shows one of the aspects that the most expected fans: the voice of Chris Pratt as Mario, as the video game character is known for not talking too much. Another point that has been applauded is the fidelity to the animation and the characters in general.
At the moment there are no details of the plot or of all the characters that will be part of this film. But, according to the images, Bowser will carry out an invasion and Mario, accompanied by Luigi, will try to stop him.
As for the cast, Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black and Seth Rogen will lend their voices to the main characters. In addition, unofficially it is known that Charles Martinet, Mario’s original voice actor, will make a small cameo.
The film directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic will be released in theaters on April 7, 2023 and is expected to be a box office success.
