At least 36 dead from explosion in factory with chemicals in India

The explosion of an unknown cause yesterday destroyed a chemical factory in the South India Telangana State caused the deaths of at least 36 people, the head of the local authorities said today. “Research operations are continuing,” local Prime Minister Revann Reddy told reporters, confirming that the corpses of 36 people have been recovered from the ruins. “We are afraid that more people may still be under debris,” Randy added after an autopsy at the factory in the Sanjarendi area.
