Six occupants crashed Friday in Philadelphia, eastern US, two days after an air tragedy with the 67 dead in Washington, where American Airlines passenger plane collided with a military helicopter. Local and state officials pointed out late last night that it is not yet clear though how many victims are on the ground from the crash of the plane in a densely populated area of Philadelphia, in the state of Pennsylvania, with many houses and shops. According to the Federal Civil Aviation Authority (FAA), the aircraft was a Learjet 55, which had taken off from Northeast Philadelphia airport to Branson, Missouri. The accident occurred about six kilometers from the airport shortly after 18:30 (local time, 01:30 Greek time).
