At the 2024 Venice Film Festival, it’s time for the amfAR Gala: all the celeb looks (with a surprise)

The amfAR Gala It is without a shadow of a doubt the Glamour highlight of the Venice Film Festival social calendar. On the evening of September 1st, in the historic Arsenale, the event flawlessly united the worlds of fashion, philanthropy and entertainment.

This magical evening has always been on the agenda of many Italian and international celebrities who, as usual, have not failed to give us fashion moments to daydream about. As usual black, sported by many stars who did not feel like leaving the comfort zone of the color/non-color (which guarantees style in any case), they responded cascades of sequins. If Toni Garrn dazzled with a stroboscopic minidress and feather boa, Eva Longoria wore a surprising dress dotted with metallic sequins with a hypnotic effect, while Kate Beckinsale appeared in a ensemble between the ethereal and the bold.

Cate Blanchett in Venice 2024: the necklace may also be a déjà-vu, but repetition is so chic

Even at the Lido, the divine actress did not give up her marked and precious tendency to rewear and, for the inaugural red carpet, she dusted off from her jewelry box a necklace that decorates her shoulders and décolleté that she had already worn in Cannes. As her stylist says: «It’s chic to repeat»

Other celebrities, such as Maria Borges And Rumer Willisthey have focused on the most appealing colour, cocoa, others on brighter colours such as in total block, like red or shocking pink. The men are impeccable: Richard Gere in a tuxedo holds a masterclass in refinement, Lucien Laviscount, Alfie’s Emily in Parisin a short tuxedo jacket and tight trousers, exuded charm, Antonio Banderas in a white jacket always has his reasons.

And then Jennifer Lopez. We’re not going too far: we know that the super pop star wasn’t present at the amfAR gala, but in a certain way she was, given that, inevitably, one of the evening’s guests wore the famous Jungle Dress Versace made history, as we all know, thanks to the Latin American star.

A dress that is not original, in short, but always impactful and never missing (the last time it was worn by Léna Mahfouf at the amfAR gala in Cannes in 2023). And that allows J.Lo to always be there, in a certain way.
