Actor Stênio Garcia, 91, is hospitalized at Hospital Samaritano Barra, in the west zone of Rio de Janeiro. The hospitalization information was confirmed this Sunday (2) by the unit, which reported that the artist’s family did not authorize the release of a medical report on the actor’s health status.
According to the “G1” website, Stênio has acute septicemia, which is a generalized blood infection caused by bacteria. He had pain in his hips and legs but was conscious and breathing normally, the website said.
Last month, Stênio surprised fans by showing a new look after some cosmetic procedures. He did facial pairing and showed the result on his social networks and shared opinions.
Due to the criticism, Stênio’s wife, Marilene Saade, explained why her husband had the procedure done.
“He had that skin [abaixo do rosto] fall. He did it just to put it in place, on June 1st. We went to São Paulo on the 31st. On the 1st of June, he did the harmonization. It looks great. He was deflated and going to the gym”, he reported.
