The luxury we didn’t yet know arrived in Rome last spring with the opening of Anantara Palazzo Naiadi. The first in Italy of the famous hotel chain based in Bangogk, part of the Minor group, brought art and beauty, atmosphere and well-being to the heart of Piazza della Repubblica. This is the luxury that Anantara offers, the charm of a place where everything is designed to welcome the senses, from the magnificence of the lobby, to the clarity of the architecture and interior design, from the rooms to the restaurants and the incredible panoramic terrace with outdoor infinity poolto swim between the sky and the roofs of Rome, up to the spadistinctive note of the brand: right where the Baths of Diocletian were, a monumental complex unique in the world thanks to its size and state of conservation, Anantara has opened one of the largest spaces dedicated to wellness in the capitalextending over 350 m2, with a complete range of treatments designed from ancient Roman rituals and wise oriental therapeutic principles.

The Lobby Lounge Bar at Ananatara Palazzo Naiadi.
A neoclassical buildingwith original elements commissioned by Pope Clement an authentic Rezzonico chandelier in Murano glass and contemporary works of art, it is a masterpiece of art, as is the Lobby Lounge Bar, a bar-sculpture, the only presence in the large colonnaded room, almost like a metaphysical and surrealist work. It is just the beginning of a place that welcomes and at the same time opens up to the city with visit experiences tailored to guests, its views, the ability to offer a unique experience.
A suite

The rooms of the Ananatara Palazzo Naiadi
Of every type, all are a refuge of calm and tranquility: 232 rooms, contemporary, with works of art on the walls, period furniture, and overlooking the masterpiece that is the city. The Presidential Suite facing Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale and the Vittoriano, is a space of unparalleled elegance, with a large living room and a dining room for exclusive evenings.
The swimming pool and terrace
There is no Rome without a terrace but the one at Anantara is unique and one of the largest panoramic terraces with swimming pool in the center of Rome: it offers an exceptional view of the city, a swimming pool that seems to float between the sky and the roofs. The ideal place for a cocktail or a romantic dinner.
The restaurants
For every hour of the day or type of break you want to treat yourself to, the hotel has an answer: starting from La Fontana Restaurant with its breakfast featuring local delicacies, and an all-day dining menu inspired by the Italian and Mediterranean tradition at Lobby Lounge Barapotheosis of style with a bar-sculpture in the center of the room.
Our favorite remains the INEO restaurant – with full grain leather and velvet seats, 60s style lamps, designed by Gae Aulenti for Martinelli Luce, arabesque marble from Carrara, and only 28 seats for a dinner with Limoges porcelain and silver cutlery designed by Christofle and the creations of Executive chef Heros De Agostinis. Before dinner, we move on to Champagne shops which accompanies the flutes with amuse-bouche prepared by the Executive Chef.
And then, last but not least, SEEN: after Lisbon, Sao Paulo and Bangkok, this is the place of Chef Olivier da Costa, a unique experience that stimulates every sense. SEEN is synonymous with glamour, style, music and food culture. It offers Brazilian delights, precious cuts of meat, unconventional fish proposals and a refined selection of sushi freshly prepared by expert Japanese masters in the sushi bar.

Then a humid area with calidarium, tepidarium, frigidarium, emotional shower, Kneipp path, sauna, ice fountain, hammam, Vichy shower, infrared sauna and an elegant relaxation area where you can sip relaxing herbal teas. But the great fame of Anantare Spa is due to the quality of its treatments, from Ayurveda to those inspired by ancient Rome.
Among the signature experiences offered by Anantara Spa, the «Diocletian Baths» ritual, inspired by the true health ritual of the emperor and the history of ancient Rome with exclusive historical ingredients used in a modern way, such as olive oil, honey, sea salt, sage and lavender.
