The Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the delusional recital of incendiary statements in which the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, threatened with a Turkish invasion of the Aegean Greeks, speaking of Ankara’s outrageous descent and stressing that the allies will be informed about it.
The announcement in detail
“Greece is not going to follow Turkey in the daily outrageous and beyond all limits downhill declarations and threats.
We will immediately inform our allies and partners of the content of the provocative statements of the last few days, in order to make it clear who is dynamiting the cohesion of our alliance in a particularly dangerous period.
At the same time, we will continue to operate, based on the rules of International Law and the Law of the Sea, as a pillar of stability and security for the wider region.”
We remind you that the president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, threatened a Turkish invasion of the Greek islands of the Aegean and referring to the Asia Minor Disaster in 1922 he characteristically said:

When the time comes we will do the right thing. As we say, one night we may suddenly come
