Atos: The CEO leaves, two deputies take over, diving 21% of the share

Atos shares fell 21% as the company announced that Rodolphe Belmer’s CEO would step down and that he had appointed two deputy CEOs.

At the same time, it is investigating a split plan in two listed companies.

The French company IT stressed that Belmer will leave as a result of the split plan. His resignation will take effect on September 30 at the latest.

Norduine Bihmane and Philippe Oliva have been appointed Deputy Managing Directors. Atos, led by Norduine Bihmane, will have the Tech Foundations line under its umbrella and aim to achieve a full recovery and restore growth, profitability and capital by 2026.

Digital and big data and security activities will be merged into Evidian, which will be headed by Philippe Oliva.

“This possible new course for Atos will aim to optimize the two separate markets in which the group operates, with fundamentally different dynamics: on the one hand the infrastructure-based market and on the other hand the digital applications and the security-oriented market.” said Belmer.
