An attack by Israeli settlers were received by Deutsche Welle television crew members on the West Bank, according to a German service. The German government demanded the security of the media’s security. The incident happened on Friday, when a correspondent from DW’s office in Jerusalem and a cameraman was stoned and persecuted by Israeli settlers near the village of Sinjil, north of Ramallah. The headquarters in Bonn announced that her associates were able to escape bodies and harmless, while their car suffered serious damage. Deutsche Welle General Manager Peter Liburg condemned the attack on the journalist and the cameraman, who, he said, covered a scheduled protest rally against settlers’ violence. “We are very clearly demanding that the Israeli government guarantee the security of all journalists on the West Bank.
