Attica Group: The distribution of profits of previous years, amounting to 0.05 euros per share, was approved

Attica Group announced that with a decision of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the company, which took place on December 23, 2021, approved the distribution of profits of previous years of the company, according to article 162 par. 3 of law 4548/2018, total net amount 10,790,292.15 euros, ie 0.05 euros per share. The above amount comes from shipping revenue, is not subject to taxation and will be reimbursed as a net amount to the beneficiaries.

As mentioned in the relevant announcement, according to the decision of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the company, the beneficiaries of the above distribution, based on the rule of identification of beneficiaries, are the investors registered in the Intangible Assets System (DSS) on Friday, December 31, 2021 (Date of Identification of Beneficiaries – Record Date). From Thursday, December 30, 2021 (Date Cut), the Company’s shares will be traded on the Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX), without the right to collect this monetary distribution.

The payment to the beneficiaries will start on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 and will be made through the paying Piraeus Bank as follows:

1. Through the Participants of the beneficiaries in the DSS. (Banks and Stock Exchanges), in accordance with the provisions of the Rules of Operation of EL.K.AT. and related decisions.

2. Especially in cases of payment to heirs of deceased beneficiaries whose titles are kept in the Special Account of their Share in the DSS, under the management of ATHEXCSD, the payment process will be carried out after the completion of the legalization of the heirs, through the branch network of the paying Bank “PIRAEUS BANK SA”.

It is clarified to Messrs. Shareholders that the right to collect the amount they are entitled to is statute-barred after the lapse of five years (article 250 approx. 15 of the Civil Code) and that after the above limitation period any uncollected amounts are definitively transferred to the Greek State in accordance with the provisions of article 1 of n.d. 1195/1942.
