The auction will run until February 23, with the most interesting exhibits expected to be sold in the early days of the auction, according to Christie’s website.

Jewelry connoisseurs will be able to purchase the pallasite meteorite interspersed with precious stones – it will cost $ 3,500 – 4,500.

The organizers called the highlight of the collection a meteorite, which did not have time to fall to the Earth, retaining on itself “elongated trails of flight” – according to preliminary estimates, they plan to gain about $ 80,000 for it.
At the same time, the auction house assured that not all lots will be so expensive – some positions will start at $ 250 per meteorite.
