The worldwide presentation of the Audi e-tron GT therefore took place on the occasion of the digital edition of «Day of Progress». During the session «Sprint of progress» Lucas di Grassi, Audi official driver in Formula E, overall winner of the series in 2016/17, explored the dynamic characteristics of the car in the company of the Formula 1 world champion Nico Rosberg, giving a sample of the performance of the Audi RS e-tron GT at the Audi Driving Experience Center circuit in Neuburg an der Donau.
The next session «Celebration of Progress» instead it served as the stage for the new four-ring electric Granturismo, unveiled in its final form. During the virtual show Markus Duesmann and Hildegard Wortmann, member of the Audi AG board for sales and marketing, together with Henrik Wenders, Senior Vice President of Audi AG, e Marc Licht, head of Audi design, presented the highlights of the car and illustrated the vision of the future according to the brand.
