Volkswagen Group Rus announced the recall of 1,260 Audi A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, e-tron, Q7, Q8, RS, RS6, SQ7 and SQ8 vehicles sold from 2021 to 2022.
According to the official statement, transport mode may not be completely disabled in these vehicles due to a deviation in the production process. The LED for the emergency call system in the ceiling module lights up red. Vehicles covered by the service event will undergo a data bus diagnostic interface software update. A check will then be made to see if the emergency call system LED in the ceiling module is green. All work will be carried out free of charge for owners.

This is the second Audi recall this year. Earlier, on March 25, Volkswagen Group Rus announced the recall of 1226 Audi A4, A5, A6, A8, Q5, Q7 and Q8 vehicles, on which the wheel alignment must be checked and, if necessary, repaired.
This news is of interest against the backdrop of yesterday, which said that Rosstandart will continue to announce recall campaigns in Russia for vehicles with factory defects, despite the suspension of the supply of spare parts by many automakers. At the same time, companies that do not comply with these requirements are subject to sanctions in the form of fines and up to the suspension of activities.
