Aurora Ramazzotti is the friend to the skin of all of us: “I have acne but I’m serene”

«It has been almost a year since I started my path to treating acne. Yes, in short, the last path I had allowed myself before giving up on the fact that it would never go away. Before starting it I had tried everything. I’ve done every possible test imaginable (really), stopped eating a lot of foods that I thought I was intolerant of, and seen so many of those specialists to lose hope. Why fighting with your skin is like this: if you haven’t tried it you can’t understand how frustrating it is to not be able to find the cause.

Each attempt is a lottery game and, when it goes wrong, a defeat to be cashed and worked out.

Well this year I can say that it was different, because I was no longer interested in finding the cause. I abandoned myself in the hands of a person who, by skin (ironically?) Inspired me with confidence. I learned to trust, to appreciate the path (turbulent, sometimes incomprehensible) to love my skin and not wanting to hide it even when I struggled to look in the mirror. So much so that lately the same mirror has lost its importance, I don’t fight it anymore, and when I come across it I don’t feel like celebrating for the results obtained because I understood that the skin speaks to us. Instead of mistreating her with products that only make the situation worse and burdening her with unnecessary drugs, conditioned by what we read and see around, it must be treated, in the true sense of the word, with constancy, delicacy and love. From then on, she will make us understand when she is good or bad. It is enough to know how to listen to it and accept it for what it is. And above all, even if it is difficult, never give up because one day, like me today, you will stop to think about the path and you will have to smile. I wish everyone to find a person who knows how to transmit love for the skin even when it seems to us that there is absolutely nothing to love. I promise you that at the end of the journey you will hardly remember the moments when you wanted to tear that damn skin from you. On the contrary, you will thank her for teaching you how to give a damn ».

A very long post on Instagram, which is a sharing of an interior journey that is not easy, made up of falls in deep ravines and ascents, tortuous paths that have put her to the test. Aurora Ramazzotti however, in the end the light to exit the tunnel found it right there from where it had never gone. In its own essence which, then, contains true beauty. The girls of Gen Z are lucky to be able to read his words, to be able to share them with a click, embracing the thought of Aurora and understanding over time of a like that war is not waged on the skin, on the appearance, but only on the soul. What the boomers and the millennials, grown in the days of divinity models, Photoshop and go-go filters, the so-called imperfections still struggle to forgive them. It takes time, after all, as Michelle Hunziker’s daughter wisely says, to accept, to give a damn, to love, to looking at oneself with a smile even when the mirror sends back an image that is far from the stereotypes that are still strong but that we are trying to break down. Aurora Ramazzotti has begun to carry on #skinpositivity in Italy, followed by other celebs such as Matilda De Angelis and Giulia De Lellis, since last summer, when she appeared on social media for the first time natural and with acne on display.

In October she returned to Instagram without filters and to talk about her pimples: «I’ll update you since sometimes someone asks me how it’s going. Some days hurt and are unmanageable, while others I almost forget. Some days the skin looks like it is about to heal and others it inflames like never before. Some days I repeat: ‘You have to have patience’ as a mantra, others just can’t. Sometimes I see black and I think that the best years of my life (or rather of my skin) are not enjoying them and I struggle to see clearly the healing. I’m afraid I don’t feel privileged enough in my prime when I should. Our skin speaks to us where we are unable to understand ourselves. To all those who live the same thing and even worse I say do not stop looking for someone who can decipher the language of the skin. Don’t rely on what you read online or on social media. And good luck”.

And the presenter and influencer that special person for the skin (in every sense) has found it: it is Alice Lastrato, the skin therapist and facialist from DD Studio by Davide Diodovich in Milan who has been following her for some time and that she is a true expert on the subject. Thanks also to her Aurora today is an honorary ambassador of the new beauty that advances: that of inner serenity that is reflected on the outside, pimples or not, scars, cellulite, stretch marks or not. Of the acceptance first of all of oneself which is transformed into absolute inclusiveness. For a better, multifaceted and beautiful society.
