Australia after the flood was shrouded in a giant spider web – video

In Australia, insects have invaded the entire state and have covered the area with dense cobwebs after a severe flood. Reported by CNN.

This phenomenon occurred in the Australian region of Gippsland in Victoria. The area suffered from severe flooding the day before.

The local emergency service warned residents about flooding in rural areas in early June and encouraged some to evacuate.

Experts explain that after heavy rains, insects move to a hill, therefore massive cobwebs and an invasion of arachnids are quite a natural phenomenon.

  • In early June 2021, the state of Victoria was covered by storms. The houses of local residents were flooded with water, they were left without electricity.
  • On June 10, police found a man’s body in the water after his car was nearly flooded. The next day, the body of a woman was found in the vehicle.
