A shocking incident occurred in Australiaas an 8-year-old boy struck by lightning at the time they were together with his family in beach and had just come out of the sea.
As stated by dailymail.co.uk, the family is from England and was in the country on holiday. So at the moment when they started to come out of the sea, a storm started to break out and then a bolt of lightning struck the child, who lost consciousness.
Lifeguards immediately rushed to CPR and he was taken to The Children’s Hospital and is now in a critical but stable condition.
Characteristically, a rescuer said about the incident that “when the paramedics arrived they managed to bring the boy back”.
“The actions of the lifeguards were instrumental in reviving the boy. He had burns to his chest, which were treated at the scene by paramedics and the intensive care medical team that arrived via helicopter,” he added later.
