Australia’s citizens will come to the polls on May 3 to elect their new parliament for the next three years, as Prime Minister Anthony Albanesi announced today. The electoral process is expected to focus on issues such as climate change, nuclear power, real estate market condition and cost of living. After ten years in the opposition, Mr Albanesi’s Labor Party (center -left) took power in May 2022 with a short majority of 77 MPs to 151 and 40 senators at 76, succeeding the extremely unproven government of the Conservative.
