Author of “Vale Tudo” vents after criticism: “Violence and Esculacho, no”

The soap opera “Vale Tudo” has been widely criticized on social networks for the errors contained on the scene or at the time of the soap opera. The author Manuela Dias made an outburst on a social network on Wednesday (21) and says she has suffered violence on the internet.

“Really the violence is not normal. It doesn’t even have to do with the products, because criticism comes before. Being criticized is part of the game, but suffering violence and being sculpted, no. It’s good that there are critics who are in the mood to think and reflect. And not just in order to seal and assault people without the least education and respect,” he said.

The most recent case was the entry of GloboNews images during the soap opera screening in Rio de Janeiro. While the soap opera was shown to the capital of Rio de Janeiro, the viewers were surprised by backstage images of pay TV. The transmission error reverberated a lot on the networks and Manuela Dias was criticized for something she didn’t even have responsibility.

At other times, the soap opera had continuity errors – something that is relatively normal even in the cinema – and Manuela was also the target of several negative comments about her work.

Columnist Maurício Stycer even made an Instagram post defending the playwright and TV Globo and criticized the attitude of netizens who expect any failure to massacre both the station and Manuela.
