The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office has released a photo of Donald Trump, taken on Thursday (24), after he turned himself in to justice. He becomes the first former president of the United States to have a “mug shot”, as the image is called in the US.
Trump’s surrender in Georgia marks the fourth time this year that the businessman has turned himself in to local or federal authorities after criminal charges were filed against him.
At the airport, shortly before leaving the state after filing, Trump said he had done nothing wrong, classifying the case as a hoax.
“We have every right to contest an election that we consider dishonest,” he said.
He also addressed other criminal cases pending against him, saying, “This is one case, but you have three other cases. This is election interference.”
