Auxílio Brasil of R$ 400 starts to be paid this Friday (10); see dates

Auxílio Brasil in the amount of R$ 400 starts to be paid this Friday (10). The beneficiaries who have o NIS (Social Identification Number) ending 1 are the first to receive.

On Monday (13) it will be the turn of those who have NIS finished in 2, and so on. Payment for the month of December will be completed for beneficiaries with a final NIS zero, on the 23rd of December, as per the previously announced schedule. Check the dates:

A Box announced in November that it would maintain the payment schedule in accordance with the former Bolsa Família.

Brazilians covered by the previous social program do not need to register again to receive the resources of Auxílio Brasil.

Beneficiaries can collect the amounts at lotteries, Caixa agencies and through the Caixa Tem application, which contains all payment instructions.

Provisional measure to guarantee payment

Earlier this week, the president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), and the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), agreed on the promulgation of points common to the two houses on the PEC dos Precatório, which makes the resources for the new social program viable.

But the Ministry of Citizenship would not have time to make payments from this Friday if it were to wait for the final approval of the PEC.

Therefore, the government decided to publish a provisional measure that guarantees that the Ministry of Citizenship will use the remaining funds from Bolsa Família to make this first payment of R$400 to the beneficiaries.
