Avalanche Foundation Launches $290M Fund to Develop Ecosystem

The Avalanche Foundation, a non-profit organization, has announced the launch of a new Avalanche Multiverse program, under which various projects will receive support in AVAX tokens.

Total organization distribute 4 million AVAX tokens to selected projects, which is $290 million at the current rate. As part of the program, the company plans to support projects that create subnets based on Avalanche. Subnets are additional blockchains linked to Avalanche that use the same tools, but can be customized to suit the requirements of a particular application.

The DeFi Kingdoms gaming project will be the first to receive support – $15 million in AVAX and the new CRYSTAL token will be sent to developers. The funds will help “scale the project and add new features.” At the same time, the Avalanche Foundation plans to divide the support program into at least six stages. This will enable a much larger number of projects to receive funds.

At the end of January, the decentralized exchange aggregator 1inch was launched on the basis of Avalanche. The support of this blockchain will allow 1inch users to make low-cost, high-speed transactions.
