Avalanche has received the Avalanche9000 update

Avalanche announced the release of Avalanche9000, the biggest update since the launch of the mainnet, making it easier to launch Layer 1 networks.

The report said that the new update makes launching the L1 blockchain more cost-effective, easier to set up, easier to support and faster to bring to market. Avalanche9000 is known to create a new architecture that allows L1 blockchains to operate independently, reducing economic and technical barriers.

“Avalanche9000 reduces the cost of L1 deployment by 99.9%. With hundreds of layer 1 blockchains being developed on the testnet, expect more launches in the coming months,” the statement said.

Also as part of Avalanche9000, there was an Etna update that eliminates restrictions in subnets (subnets), such as high staking requirements and increased operating costs for validators.

In addition, Avalanche9000 provides a complete set of tools and documentation for developers. Specifically, the team introduced the Fuji Testnet and incentive programs such as Retro9000 (grants for developers) and Bounty9000 (a series of rewards for building tools and infrastructure).

Thanks to Avalanche9000, Avalanche C-Chain’s minimum gas fee will be reduced by 96%. Blockworks Research predicts that after the latest update, the number of transactions will increase by about 50%.
