Avril Lavigne releases “Love Sux”, the seventh album of her career; listen up

After three years since her last release, the singer Avril Lavigne returned this Friday (25) with the new album entitled “Love Sux”. Her seventh career album features 12 songs, “charged with guitar and drums”, as she claims.

The Canadian points out that the album came naturally at a time when she had just gotten out of a toxic relationship and was in need of some time for herself. She wanted to write about “how hard love is”.

“Bite Me”, the first track, was released on November 10, 2021, followed by “I Love it When You Hate It”, which features singer Blackbear.

The album also has other collaborations such as Mark Hoppus, from the band Blink-182, Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun. Listen:

Avril Lavigne is one of the attractions of the Rock in Rio, which takes place in September. She will headline the Sunset Stage on the 9th, with all the pop and punk mix that brought her to the music charts.

“I agreed to play at the festival and everyone went crazy over the news. It’s so exciting and so special to still have such a solid fan base over the years,” he said.

In addition to marking a new phase in 2022, Lavigne also celebrates the 20th anniversary of her debut album, “Let Go”, which marked the beginning of her career with the tracks “Complicated”, “Sk8er Boi” and “I’m With You”. ”.
