He also denied the rumor that the updated Lada Vesta Sport will get a 1.3-liter Renault turbo engine, which is installed on the Renault Arkana coupe-crossover and the second-generation Duster SUV.
The updated sports sedan will retain the 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine with 145 hp, as well as a manual transmission with enhanced drives. Acceleration of Lada Vesta Sport from 0 to 100 km/h takes 9.6 seconds, and the maximum speed of the car is 198 km/h.
Lada Vesta Sport differs from a regular sedan in a sporty body kit, an extended track, 17-inch alloy wheels, a suspension with special settings and a ground clearance lowered by 31 mm, as well as reinforced brakes.

The updated Lada Vesta Sport will receive the same changes as the standard model, which was announced this week. The radiator grille, bumpers and front optics have undergone changes. The interior has a digital instrument panel and a vertical touchscreen display of an advanced infotainment complex.
The Lada Vesta Sport equipment includes a stabilization system, climate control, cruise control, a multifunctional steering wheel, heated front seats, rain and light sensors, and an audio system.
