This decision was pleasing due to the ongoing crisis in the supply of electronic components and in order to avoid a significant reduction in employees’ earnings. Presumably, this decision will allow AvtoVAZ to accumulate the necessary stock of components to ensure more stable operation of enterprises in Togliatti and Izhevsk from April 25, as well as in May 2022.
In addition, it was confirmed that AvtoVAZ is introducing a 4-day working week at production sites in Tolyatti and Izhevsk from June 6, 2022 for a period of 3 months. This change affects 100% of the company’s employees.
