One of Croatia's most famous directors, Dalibor Matanic, has admitted in a lengthy Facebook post that he sexually assaulted several women, sparking a backlash in his country. “All this happened during periods where I was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Our work is very stressful – but that certainly does not justify my behavior,” writes 49-year-old Matanic, adding that he decided to enter a rehab center.
