Away from Hollywood, Armie Hammer announces podcast: “Rebuild my life”

The American actor Armie Hammer 38, announced a new project on Monday (28). He launched a podcast with the aim of “rebuilding” his own life. The first episode features the comedian Tom Arnold 65, and it’s already on the air.

“I have news. Some of you will love it and some of you will really hate it. But basically, I’m starting a podcast. The original idea was the concept that, throughout the day, every person you interact with knows at least one thing that you don’t know, so teach me what that thing is,” he began.

“I want to have long, interesting conversations with people who have tools or skills or who have gained wisdom or even just any random thing that I don’t know about. I want to learn, and that’s still the core idea of what we’re trying to do with this podcast, but it’s also a diary of sorts. I’ve been away for the last four years and now I’m back. It will be a kind of diary, or chronicle, of how I rebuild my life “, he explained.

On the podcast’s official profile, called The Armie Hammer Time Podcast, the call plays with the controversy of cannibalism: “Armie meets extraordinary people from all walks of life while rebuilding his own. Don’t worry… we feed you before every episode .”

Away from Hollywood since 2021, Hammer is experiencing financial problems. He recently announced the sale of his truck because he was unable to pay for gas.

The actor is known for starring in titles such as “The Social Network” (2010) and “Call Me By Your Name” (2017), however, he saw his life change when he was accused of sexual assault and fantasies of cannibalism. As a result, he was fired from several projects and excluded from the industry.

In a recent interview on British journalist Piers Morgan’s YouTube program, the artist was asked directly if he was a cannibal. The actor replied: “Do you know what it takes to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten someone”, he declared, clarifying that he never fed on other humans.

He claimed that the allegations emerged after consensual acts and sexual play . As an example, the actor admitted to having used a razor to produce a scar on his ex-girlfriend’s groin the influencer Paige Lorenze through a cut, however, insisted that “no blood even came out”.
