Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced today that he had spoken with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and thanked him for offering him fuel for sowing in his country.
In his Twitter post, Zelensky did not give any other details about this fuel.
“I informed them of the new blows to the civilian population. The urgent need for green corridors was discussed. I thanked the humanitarian aid and the readiness (of Azerbaijan) to provide fuel for sowing,” he said.
Earlier, Zelensky announced that he had also spoken with German Chancellor Olaf Soltz, whom he briefed on peace talks with Russia. “The pressure on Russia must continue, the sanctions must be intensified,” he wrote on Twitter.
