B3 announced the launch of L4 Venture Builder, a fund with capital of BRL 600 million for investments in the entrepreneurship innovation ecosystem over the next five years.
The operation is still subject to approvals.
According to a statement to the market, the fund will select projects in businesses with high growth potential in sectors such as energy, carbon, decentralized finance, asset tokenization, solutions for fintechs, neobanks, crowdfunding, payments, among others.
L4 Venture Builder will operate with an independent structure, led by Pedro Meduna, an executive with experience in strategic consulting, private equity and, more recently, entrepreneurship in different businesses.
“The creation of L4 Venture Builder continues B3’s strategy of innovation in its core business and growth on other fronts and adds to the New Business portfolio that is being built, which already has the Digital Assets and Development initiative of Products and Services for Middle and Backoffice”, says B3.
The company points out that investments via the fund are not part of the company’s projections released last week.
