In response to the attack suffered by the driver linked to the Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration and Resocialization (Seap), a joint operation was triggered on Friday (23) in the Eunapolis Penal Set, southern extremes of Bahia.
In addition to Seap, the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) and the Public Prosecution Service of Bahia (MP-BA) participated in the operation.
According to the organs, a detailed magazine began to remove illicit materials from the unit.
In addition, the operation also aims to verify the need to transfer inmates, suspension of visits and study for definitive relocation of inmates linked to criminal factions, especially that allegedly involved in the recent attack on the criminal assembly. The hit driver is still hospitalized in a hospital unit.
After the attack, the Eunápolis Prison was temporarily managed by the group specializing in prison operations (GEOP), to restore the order and security of the place.
