Last Monday (20), the Ceará Fire Department rescued a baby who was trapped inside a pressure cooker while playing in the bathroom. The one in Itapipoca, about 150 kilometers from Fortaleza.
According to the child’s mother, Vanessa Kelly de Sousa Farias, she was in the bathroom playing with some toys and the pressure cooker with water. In a moment of distraction, the child entered the pot, sat down and was unable to get out.
To carry out the rescue, firefighters used a micro-grinder to create an opening and expand the pan, enabling the safe removal of the child, aged 1 year and 11 months. The rescue was completed successfully and the victim did not suffer any injuries.
