Electric bike company FLX has announced the imminent release of its latest Babymaker II bike. FLX has made good money off sales of the original FLX Babymaker and hopes the new and improved Babymaker II will be well received in the fast growing electric bike market.
The original Babymaker electric bike cost $2,000, although promotional discount offers were made. It was launched as part of a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo in 2020. The fundraising process was quite successful, raising over $13 million in total from interested users.

The new model will bear some resemblance to the original Babymaker, which received a tiny electric motor in the rear wheel hub. The battery was built into the frame of the electric bike. The Babymaker II will ship with a battery that is almost half the size of the original model. This will mean that the Babymaker II will have a longer range than its predecessor.
The new bike will be powered by a 350W motor that can propel the Babymaker II to a top speed of 40km/h. Other features are a flat handlebar, Magura hydraulic disc brakes and an improved riding position.
Price and release date will be announced soon.
