The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) issued a danger orange alert for heavy rainfall in part of Bahia and Sergipe.
The warning began this Saturday (3) and is effective until Monday (5).
According to Inmet, rainfall between 30 and 60 millimeters per hour or accumulated 50 to 100 millimeters day can occur, plus intense winds between 60 and 100 km/h.
The most affected area can be the northern coast of Bahia and much of Sergipe, including Aracaju.
In a smaller degree of alert (yellow), another part of Bahia (including Salvador and Feira de Santana) may have rains between 20 and 30 millimeters hour.
