The leader of the far-right Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and government partner of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, Devlet Bakhceli, used incendiary rhetoric at noon on Monday, referring to Turkey’s claims of the use of Russian S-300 by Greece against Turkish fighters.
According to the correspondent of the SKAI TV station in Istanbul, D. Bakhceli said that the specific event is “a hostile response and advanced provocation”.
The Turkish far-right leader emphasized that his wish is for the current Greek government to come to its senses immediately and stop “chasing the madness”, otherwise “the price that Greece will pay will be much heavier than what happened on August 30, 2022 and may manifest itself as an inevitable fact of life and history”.
