Baker follows Google car and manages to appear on several streets in Street View

“I was amazed that it had worked”! That was the reaction of pastry chef and influencer Yorran Salomão, 20, when he told the CNN who managed to chase a Google car that was photographing the streets of the city of Castanhal, in Pará, and have their photos published on the internet. The vehicle has a camera to register for Street View.

Yorran says that the case happened in October of last year, when he took his bicycle to buy inputs for the preparation of the cakes he makes to sell.

Upon noticing the presence of the vehicle with the technology giant’s logo, the confectioner decided to ignore that he was late for shopping and follow the car.

“Who knows when this would happen again in my life”, says Yorran, who learned from a video on social networks that the chances of finding a Google car on the streets are very small.

The young man managed to chase the car through five streets, he just didn’t continue the route, as his bicycle battery ran out. Yorran regretted that he had to follow the route by bicycle, which prevented him from posing for the photos.

The baker only found out that the pursuit of the company’s vehicle had worked last Monday (27). He opened the Google Maps tool to search for a tire shop in his neighborhood, as the tire on the same bicycle used in the pursuit was flat.

When browsing the platform, Yorran noticed that the Google Street View photos had been updated and decided to look for the addresses where he chased the car.

The young man reports that he was surprised by the achievement and decided to publish his feat on social networks. The video accumulates thousands of views on Instagram and Tik Tok. The content pleased the followers, who praised the achievement and asked for tips to be able to repeat the confectioner’s feat.
