The Brazilian trade balance registered a trade surplus of US$ 1.323 billion in the second week of September (5th to 11th).
According to data released this Monday (12) by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Ministry of Economy, the value was reached with exports of US$ 6.214 billion and imports of US$ 4.891 billion.
In September, the trade balance accumulated a surplus of US$ 2.342 billion up to the 11th, with exports at US$ 9.572 billion and imports at US$ 7.230 billion.
Year-to-date, the trade balance has a surplus of US$ 46.217 billion.
Exports registered an increase of 37.4% in the daily average in September compared to the same period last year, with growth of 85.2% in Agriculture, growth of 5.3% in the Extractive Industry and a 38.7% increase in sales of products of the Transformation Industry.
The daily average of imports increased 26.7% in the period, with a 27.9% growth in Agriculture, a 59.8% increase in the Extractive Industry and a 25.2% increase in products from the Manufacturing Industry.
