By unanimous decision of the Board of Directors, today we will begin the process of closing the foundation,” said Steve Sarowitz, who co-funded Wayfarer Studios with Baldoni, in publication made on Instagram.
“Let’s honor all our current donations commitments as we carefully interrupt operations in the coming weeks. Although Wayfarer Foundation is closed, my personal commitment to philanthropy remains strong, and I am dedicated to impacting society through mission and continuous work.”

Blake Lively sued Baldoni for harassment and defamation, claiming that he would have orchestrated a campaign to “destroy” his reputation in retaliation to her complaints on the set of filming.
The actress previously said to The New York Times: “I hope my lawsuit helps reveal these dark retaliation tactics against people who report inappropriate conduct and help protect others who can be targeted.”
Baldoni, who also worked as director of the feature film, denied the accusations.
Bryan Freedman, who acts as an actor’s lawyer and his producer, told Variety: “These allegations are completely false, outrageous and intentionally sensationalist, with the intention of publicly injuring and rekindling a narrative in the media.”
