On September 19, crypto community members reported alleged hacking Telegram trading bot Banana Gun and theft of funds. The service’s developers confirmed “unauthorized transfers” from the wallets of a limited number of users.

According to them, after the first incident, the team disabled the bot and began a thorough check of the backend.
Since the translations were done manually, this presumably indicates a front-end vulnerability.
The developers did not specify the amount of damage. Earlier, X users wrote that it could be around $1.9 million.

Following the initial reports of the alleged hack, the BANANA token responded by falling by more than 10%.
