Eight years after its end, the band One Direction formed by singers Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne released new songs on the band’s official YouTube profile.
The songs are a cover of “Forever Young” from Alphaville, and “Where We Are”, discarded by the band from the official discography.
The cover was recorded by the group during the competition program The X Factor, responsible for bringing together all the singers in the band. Each of the former members initially performed solo, in 2010.
“Forever Young” in their voice was never released as it would be the song they would present as winners of the program. One Direction came in third place.
“Where We Are” was supposedly recorded in 2014, when the band went on tour “Where We Are Tour”, which promoted their third studio album, the “Midnight Memories”.
Niall and Liam posed together recently, during one of the Irishman’s shows on “The Show Live on Tour”. “Reunited”, Liam wrote alongside his former band partner.
Niall Horan was in Brazil with the same tour at the end of September, celebrating, mainly, his latest album released, the “The Show” (2023).
