Reporter Lucas Martins, from TV Band, was rescued on the coast of São Paulo, this Sunday (1st), after disappearing on a trail in Serra do Mar.
According to the Band’s press office, “Lucas Martins was rescued by helicopter and is fine.”
In addition to the reporter, three more people were missing along the way. According to the Fire Department, everyone was rescued.
The disappearance occurred in the municipality of Itanhaém, in the Atlantic Forest region. The group entered the Juquitiba trail, towards Itanhaém. However, they got lost on the way and the firefighters were called by family members.
The searches included firefighters from the 6th and 18th Groups. Support from the Águia helicopter was also used.
In addition to being a reporter for TV Band, Lucas Martins is an ultramarathon runner and posts several trails on social media.
