An application driver recorded the moment when he fled a group of criminals who blocked a stretch of the Immigrant Highway, which connects the capital to the coast of Sao Paulo, at dawn on Wednesday (30).
In the video released you can see about five men, who distributed traffic cones at one of the highway entrances, with the aim of simulating a block for drivers, and then performing the theft.
According to Ecovias, the concessionaire that manages the Anchieta-Imigrantes Highway, the suspicious movement was identified by a police officer on duty by the cameras installed at the site. He immediately triggered the team of Tactical Ostensive Road (Tor), but when they arrived at the address the suspects fled.
In a statement, Ecovias Imigrantes regrets what happened, and informs that it collaborates with the Military Highway Police (PMRV), to provide full support to the authorities for the preservation of road safety.
The Civil Police analyze the recorded images to identify the individuals involved. Investigation follows in progress.

In another case two criminals were arrested after the Diadema Civil Police frustrate an explosion plan of a bridge on the immigrant highway located in São Paulo, with dynamite bananas . The arrests took place on Wednesday (30).
According to the agents on Thursday (1st), the duo plan was Stealing a vault car that would pass through the region on the weekend after holiday of May 1st (Labor Day).
