A gang of eight armed men riding four motorcycles robbed families leaving a children’s party on Alameda dos Araés, a side street off Avenida Indianópolis, in Planalto Paulista, south of São Paulo, on the evening of Saturday, the 14th.
According to the São Paulo Public Security Department (SSP), a 44-year-old man filed a police report and stated that his cell phone and documents were stolen at the time. There is no information about items taken from other people.
“The victim, a 44-year-old man, reported leaving a party with his wife and daughter, along with other families, when eight armed criminals on four motorcycles approached them,” said the SSP. “The case was registered as a robbery at the Electronic Police Station, and the area where the incident occurred was the 27th DP (Ibirapuera).”
According to the department, efforts will be made to identify the criminals. “If the victims have any other information, such as the location of the stolen cell phone, it is essential to notify the authorities immediately,” the department emphasizes.
