A bus from the Nova Iguaçu x Vila Isabel line was robbed on the morning of Thursday (13), on Avenida Brasil, at the time of Irajá, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The information was confirmed by the Federation of Mobility Companies of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Semove).
The passengers were victims of the truculent action of two men. One of them was armed and fired into the vehicle during the approach. According to information, they would have boarded in Irajá and get down in the New City.
After leaving the criminals, the driver and passengers went to the 20th DP (Vila Isabel) where the case was registered. In a statement, the Military Police reported that the Express Policing Battalion (BPVE) was not fired for this action.
In a statement, Semove stated that “collaborates with security authorities in prevention and repression actions and asks for the help of all in identifying criminals, requesting information to be referred to the Denunciation Dial.”
